Insurance for this type of business can be a real headache to find, and then getting someone who actually understands your particular insurance needs, can be harder still.

Here at Coversure Macclesfield, we have many body artists on our books from everywhere across the country, because they know we can come up with the goods. We have spent the necessary amount of time researching what cover is available and then we have talked and listened to our customers to identify exactly what the needs of a tattoo or body piercing studio, actually are. Then through working with several different insurers, we have managed to come up with a range of bespoke packages and various options that meet those needs.

The various options can cover something simple such as a standalone Treatment Risk or Liability policy, right through to a full blown, all singing, all dancing retail package that covers everything, your buildings cover, your shop front/signage, contents/stock and even the choice of 3 different types of legal cover.

And it’s not just tattooists. As mentioned, we already cover body piercing, (both above and below the navel), but also spray tattooing / permanent makeup and many more body art trades besides.
